Back in its day this was probably the hive of caravan holiday makers.
It would seem that it has stayed true to its original style and not much has changed since the hey-day.
Having said that it does have a fantastic location right across the road from the water and a path you can walk on and it’s not a huge walk to get to the shops or other water spots.
In the grand scheme of parks Military Jetty is a relatively small one that packs the punch in its waterfront location. All you have is a road to cross and you are right at the water.
Look, this park does not have all the bells and whistles of other parks. It’s biggest selling point would have to be it’s location to the water. There is one amenities block for the park and whilst it cant be faulted for cleanliness it is tired.
It did have a good quality takeaway at the front of the park which is always helpful if you just don’t feel like cooking or need that milk you forgot to get.
What the park lacks in other things it certainly makes up for in the service. One man runs the park, and Tim is the nicest most genuine person and working in this industry definitely is his calling.
It is spot on for what you get. It was $30/night…bear in mind this was in the school holidays and for the four of us.
