When designing and populating the foyer area it is important to be aware that there are certain documents that are required to be displayed in the foyer or upon entrance of a Early Learning service. Not only are the documents that are required to be displayed are a result of regulations, it is also considered good practice to share important information with staff, parents and visitors.
Additionally, there is generally an area set aside for parents to find information about the service should they wish to, have access to local information and other services and professionals should they wish.
As a member of staff it is also important to know where to locate said documents.
There is no prescribed way to display the required documents, however, they need to be visible and accessible within the entry of the service.
