When we arrived at Coffs Harbour I got a old-style feel with a modern splash.
Coffs Harbour is a family town with some of the best coastal lines and jetty. We drove straight to Park Beach Holiday Park. It’s near the ocean so when you wake up you can usually get a spray of the sea. We couldn’t go to Coffs Harbour without going to the big banana! It’s got water slides, mini golf, laser tag and ice skating. It’s a whole bunch of fun! Lunch was at the big banana café which was a chocolate covered banana. It was busy, so it took a while for the food but it was worth the wait. The afternoon was swallowed by a long slow walk along the famous jetty.
After an early rise we went for a lovely relaxing walk down by the marina. By the time we arrived it was already lunch so we swung by the fish “n” chip shop where we got, well, fish and chips. We were then occupied by ice-cream by Eric & Debs Home Made Ice-Cream. It melted in my mouth and I would have had seven scoops!
Coffs Harbour is an amazing, welcoming place and the locals make you feel right at home.
My overall review on Coffs Harbour is 9/10.
