A must have travel game are the new interactive games made by Shuffle. We got to unpack the Monopoly Junior.
I don’t know about you but in our house we have so many variations of Monopoly….the original, Monopoly Junior and Monopoly Here and Now World Edition, so when SK was given the opportunity to review a new version of Monopoly let’s just say if we declined there would have been pouty faces from the girls as a response.
“So with much excitement the reviewing of the game commenced”
Shuffle have launched a new take on many classic family games. To date, besides Monopoly Junior, available in the Shuffle collection are Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit (big in our household), My Little Pony, Operation, Cluedo, Connect 4, Boggle, The Game of Life (another favourite in our household) and another classic Guess Who?
Monopoly Junior is the game we are reviewing. All the games have a RRP $19.95 each.
Shuffle is a interactive card game. You download the FREE game app onto your phone or tablet which is a huge positive in portability and accessibility anywhere. We travel a lot and are travelling overseas next year so this type of game is perfect especially given we are attempting to travel overseas with only carry-on luggage.
The game comes in a compact hard plastic case included are cards and instructions.
Playing using the app is really easy and fun. Each person has a stack of card with 2 cards facing up and then you tie in with the screen and the pace can be tailored to the individuals playing the game. A bonus of the this game is looking out for the different buildings and the interactivity of the game. It brings Monopoly to life. This version is quite different from any other monopoly we have played in the past, obviously there is no board to play on and no moves around the board with your token but it is entertaining and a great variation. It certainly is now on the packing list.
The game caters for 2-4 players aged 4+
