Baby teeth
when will a child’s teeth come through?…
They get their teeth at these general ages:
- 6-12 months: Their first 4 teeth- the front top two and bottom two- incisors. By 12 months they generally have 8 teeth…all 8 incisors.
- 12-18 months: Their first double teeth- the second from the back of their mouth at the top and bottom on both sides- their first molars.
- 18-24 months: Their next sets are the ones next to the molars on the inside closer to the incisors- canines.
- 24-30 months: Their last set- the set at the back of their mouth- their second molars.
The second teeth begin to appear at around 5 or 6 years old.
